Switched to a higher-scoring food and my dog's coat changed in a month

Not claiming cause and effect, but: he was on a supermarket kibble for two years, coat always a bit dull and flaky in winter. Moved him onto something with fish oil and a named meat first, and about five weeks later he's noticeably glossier. The transition was the annoying part โ€” a week of mixing before he'd take it plain.

Omega-3s do seem to show up in the coat first. Took about six weeks for ours too.

How slowly did you transition? We went too fast last time and paid for it on the carpet.

Ten days, going 25% new every three days. Slower than the bag says but no upset at all.
